Wolcott- Michele M. Cook, 54, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2017. She was the loving wife of Brian M. Cook.
Michele was born in Waterbury, on January 23, 1963, to Noma B. (Gregory) Costin, and the late Patrick F. Costin. Michele was a lifelong resident of Wolcott, and graduated from Wolcott High in 1981. She enjoyed camping, fishing on the boat, and shopping, and was a supporter of the Special Olympics.
Including her husband, Brian, and her mother, Noma, Michele is survived by her son, David M. Cook; her daughter, Nicole M. Cook; her brother, Michael K. Costin, and his wife, Terri, of Thomaston; her grandson, Eli P. Cook; several nieces and nephews; and extended family and friends. Michele had a big heart and will be missed dearly by all who knew her, especially the “fun bunch.”
Including her father, Patrick M. Costin; she was predeceased by her brother, Brian P. Costin.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, February 22 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 23 at 9:30 a.m. at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, 74 W. Main Street, Waterbury. Meet directly at church. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Watertown.
