Waterbury – Mr. Victor G. Norman, 74, passed away peacefully on Oct. 10, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.
Victor was born on Nov. 9, 1945 in Waterbury, CT. He was the husband of Linda (Bruno) Norman. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era with honorable discharge.
Besides his wife Linda of 54 years, he leaves behind to cherish his memory, his son Victor G. Norman Jr., and his wife Kristin of Wolcott; daughters Christina Goddard and husband Derek of Wolcott, and Rebecca Lawson and her husband Dennis of Waterbury; sisters Helen Levasseur of Wolcott, and Virginia Dalmaso of Florida; brother Paul Norman of Virginia; grandchildren Michelle and Kristy Dean, Nathaniel, Emily, Nicolas, and Evan Goddard; great-grandson Phillip Chaine; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Sheila Dean; brother Henry Norman; and sister Elizabeth (Yeager) Bolton.
Besides being a devoted husband and father, Victor loves to go camping with his family and enjoyed playing horseshoes (he was the horseshoes champ). He also enjoyed the sport of fishing and many vacations in Cape Cod. He especially enjoyed attending his grandson’s baseball games.
Private services with full Military Honors were held privately.
