Therese Ouellette

Coconut Creek, FL- Therese Ouellette, 91, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2018 in FL. She was the wife of the late Rene Ouellette.

Therese was born in the Province of Quebec, Canada on February 12, 1927 to the late Arthur and Annie (Levesque) Pelletier. She lived in Canada for 36 years; moved to CT for 15 years, before moving to FL where she spent the last 40 years of her life. Therese had an unwavering faith in God. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes in Boca Raton. Therese enjoyed knitting and loved making knitted bonnets for children with cancer. She enjoyed her birthdays the most because it was a time when most of her family gathered together to celebrate her special day. Therese cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as they held a very special place in her heart, despite the language barrier.

Therese is survived by her 5 sons, Jacques Ouellette, and his wife, Francoise, of CT; Raymond Ouellette, and his wife, Terri, of AZ; Robert Ouellette, and his wife, Cathy, of AZ; Roger Ouellette, of AZ; and Donald Ouellette, and his wife, Maria, of Waterbury; her 5 daughters, Guedla “GiGi,” and her husband, Bert Bard, of Plantsville; Jeandine Ouellette, and her husband, Buddy, of Coconut Creek, FL;Renelle Spagnelletti, and her husband, Bob, of PA; Diane Roy, of FL; and Denise Heidorn, and her husband, Bob, of FL; her daughter-in-law, Doris Ouellette; her 3 siblings, Laurier Pelletier; Maurice Pelletier; and Fernande Ouellette; her 27 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, and extended family.

Including her husband, Rene, Therese was predeceased by her children, Claudia Ouellette and Jean Yves; her son in law, Brenton Roy; and her 12 siblings.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, May 6 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. at the Shrine of St. Anne, 515 S. Main St., Waterbury. Meet directly at church. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
