Terry’s life always revolved around her family. Terry is survived by her two daughters, Amy Schmaling and Christina Cordon; as well as her grandson Wayne T. Schmaling; and her sister Tammy Couture and brother-in-law Paul S. Couture. She is also survived by her brother Todd Welton and sister-in-law Patti Welton; and her brother Scott Welton and sister-in-law Kim Welton. She will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews, Paul T. Couture and Jackie Nickolas; Taylor Couture and her fiancé Kevin Roberts; Brandon Cepelak and Erin Howe; Makayla Welton, Andrew Welton and Nicholas Welton. Terry was always there for her many beloved friends, and she knew that they were there for her. She is predeceased by her father Thomas Welton, her mother Nola Welton, her sister Amy Welton, and her brother Thomas Welton. We know that they will welcome her with open arms.
The simple pleasures in life always brought great joy to Terry, all of which included her family. Her favorite memories included camping trips to Bantam Lake with her aunt, uncle and cousins, family picnics, trips to Lake Winnipesaukee, and floating in the pool for hours. Some of her favorite meals included Domino’s Pizza, breakfast at East Gate, and parmesan peppercorn dressing. Terry was very grateful for the wonderful care that she received from the Harold Leever Center, Waterbury Pulmonary Associates, and Dr. Koliani.
Services will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Harold Leever Center in Waterbury, CT. Terry will be honored at a lakeside celebration of her life in the summer of 2021.
