Wolcott – Shirley Ann (Druan) Labonte, 89, of Wolcott, passed away on November 12, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was the widow of Elias Labonte.
Shirley was born on January 8, 1932 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Edward and Anna (Dolan) Druan. Shirley enjoyed bingo and trips to the casino. She cherished the time she was able to spend with her loving family and always looked forward to her trips with her nieces and sister (-in-law) Pat.
Shirley is survived by her five children, Thomas Labonte and his wife Joan, Ronald Labonte and his wife Crystal, Lori Lacombe and her husband Bruce, Edward Labonte and his wife Sandra, and Sandra Audibert and her husband Curt; seven grandchildren, Bruce (Lori), Michael (Jennifer), and Steven Lacombe, and Jacob, Olivia, and Jillian Audibert, and Briana Giroux; four great-granchildren, Bruce and Sadie Lacombe, and Alexander and Lysander Rosario; two step-great-grandchildren Gianni Testa, and Alexander Rosario, Jr., two bothers, Robert and William Druan and a sister-in-law Patricia Druan; nephew Anthony Colaneglo and his wife Marian; and several other nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call on Monday, November 15, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road., Wolcott. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 16 at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Woodtick Cemetery.
