Mr Roland A LeClerc
November 13, 1934 ~ August 19, 2020 (age 85) 85 Years Old
Plantsville – Roland A. LeClerc, 85, joined his beloved wife, Margaret (Frappier) LeClerc, in Heaven on Wednesday, August 19, 2020.
Roland was born in Waterbury on November 13, 1934 to Albert and Yvonne (Villemure) LeClerc. He worked at Fulton Markets, where he met Margaret, prior to joining the Army and later worked for Colonial Bank, A. Rifkin Company and Webster Bank. He enjoyed singing in barbershop quartets, taking home movies and was a successful competitive roller skater.
Roland leaves behind his sons, Joseph LeClerc, and his wife, Robin, of FL; Michael LeClerc and his wife, Fonda, of Park City, UT; and Marc LeClerc, and his wife, Amy, of Wolcott, CT; his daughter, Patricia Devaux, and her husband, David, of Berlin, CT; his brother, Leon LeClerc, and his wife, Valerie; his grandchildren, J.D., Jesse, Ben, Nate, Ali, Braelyn, Andrew, and Noah; his great-grandchildren, Makyah and Jack; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Including his wife, Margaret, Roland was predeceased by his daughters, Mary LeClerc and Anne LeClerc, and his sister Lillian LeClerc.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 24 at Noon at St. Bridget’s Church, 175 Main Street, Cheshire. Meet directly at church. Masks and social distancing are required. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury.
