Wolcott – Robert J. Cote, 89, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2019.
Robert was born in Caswell, Maine on June 14, 1930 to Warren and Cora (Turner) Cote. He proudly served his country in the Army, during the Korean War, stationed in Germany. He retired from White Oak Corp Construction, and went on to open Cote’s Café in Wolcott. He was a member of the VFW in Wolcott and enjoyed fast cars.
He is survived by his son, David Cote, and his wife, Carol, of Wolcott; his daughter, Christine Franks, and her husband, John, of Clearwater, FL; his grandchildren, Wes Cote; Danny Cote; Brittany Martino, and her husband, Matt; and Dale Cote; his great grandchildren, Mason and Madison; his siblings, William Cote, of Limestone, Maine; and Judy Ouellette, of Bangor, Maine; his former wife and close friend, Maxine Cote; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his siblings, Dick, Sheldon, Roger, and Joanne.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 7 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. A funeral home service will be held at Noon with Military honors. Burial will be held privately.
