Rita B. Bolduc

Naugatuck – Rita B. Bolduc, born May 20, 1939, passed away April 20, 2022 at the age of 82 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford surrounded by the love of her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard J. Bolduc.

Rita worked for BMI for many years. She was an exceptional wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, and the greatest joys in her life were her family. She was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. Rita’s passion was to sew and bake, her specialty was her famous carrot cake.

She leaves behind her daughter, Darlene Carlson and Bruce Remillard of Naugatuck; son in law Michael Hills of Oakville; grandchildren, Rachel Graham, Michael Davis, Michael Hills Jr., and Ryan Hills; great-grandsons Scott Domschine, William Graham, Michael Hills III, Hailey Rose and Oliver Hills; great-great-grandson Adrien Domschine; sister-in-law Sister Elaine Bolduc of Windham; brother-in-law Robert Bolduc and his wife Trudy Bolduc of Waterbury; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Rhonda Hills; and her sister Marjorie Coleman.

Whoever knew her would certainly gain an appreciation for how much she cared for everyone. She will be greatly missed with fond memories.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at New Pine Grove Cemetery, 850 Meriden Rd., Waterbury. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery office at 10:45 A.M.
