Wolcott – Philip L. Allison, 87, of Wolcott, passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 11, 2021 with his family by his side. He was the loving husband of 57 years of Bertha (Mitchell) Allison and each considered the other a gift from God.

Philip was born on December 15, 1933 in Baltimore, Maryland, son of the late Robert A. Jr., and Gladys (Britton) Allison. Philip enlisted in the U.S. Army and served honorable in Korea from 1953-1956. He was a graduate of Towson High School in Maryland and later obtained his Business Management Degree from the University of Baltimore in 1960. He cherished spending time with family and his two dogs, Max and Lester. He avidly enjoyed sports, spending many years as a Little League baseball coach in Wolcott. He loved supporting veterans, animals, and spending time at the second family home on Nantucket Island.
