Paula Girard

Middlebury - Paula (Brisbois) Girard was reunited in heaven with her beloved children Jean Pierre, Marcel, Jocelyn and Caroline on April 24, 2020 after a long illness. She was born in Espanola Canada on May 2, 1926, coming to the U.S. in 1953 where she obtained her citizenship some years later. She worked for many years at the Waterbury Buckle Co before her retirement.

She was a beloved grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her grandson’s family Philip, Kathy, Alex, Cash and Cru Girard of California; a beloved brother and sister-in-law Andre and Beverly Pronovost of Florida; sister Nicole Martin of Watertown; Philip Girard’s mother Winnie Girard of Middlebury and several nieces and nephews and many loving friends. She is joined in heaven with her brother Paul Brisbois and his wife Pierrette; brother Marcel Brisbois and his wife Muriel.

Services will be at the convenience of the family.
