Nevrije Avxhiu

WOLCOTT – Mrs. Nevrije Avxhiu, 90, of Wolcott, passed away on June 6, 2020. She was the wife of the late Sadik Avxhiu, who passed away in 2016.

Nevrije was born on July 21, 1929, in Albania. She is survived by her son Albert and his wife Ilda, son Shkelqim and his wife Anila, daughter Fillareta and her husband Gezim; and seven grandchildren, Olger and his wife Manjola, Eriola and her husband Matthew, Engjell, Bjanka and Joe, Ardit and his wife Dafina, Enerik, and Erika.

The wake will be today from 5 to 7 p.m. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. Attendees must wear a mask and practice social distancing. Due to restrictions on gatherings, you are kindly asked to leave after paying your respects to allow the next group to enter.

Funeral services will be private.
