Wolcott – Mrs. Marguerite “Marge” Firmani, 80, passed away at her home on Friday morning, July 14. She was the widow of David P. Firmani, Sr.

Marge was born April 17, 1937 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Joseph and Antionetta (Genova) Russo. She had retired from Alcott/Tyrell Middle School as an Assistant Librarian. She will be remembered for love of reading and devotion to her church, St. Pius X, where she sang in the choir for many years.

She is survived by three sons, David P. Firmani, Jr and his wife Linda of Farmington, Dennis Firmani and his girlfriend Michele Quinn of Wolcott and Glenn Firmani and his wife Ann of Wolcott; one daughter, Marcia Firmani and her husband Lloyd Hough of Alexandria, VA; two brothers, Joseph Russo of Watertown and Neil Russo of Romeo, MI; three grandchildren, Michael and his wife Laura, Laura and Megan and many nieces, nephews and close friends. She was predeceased by her sister, Angela Addazio.

Calling hours will be held on Monday evening from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Woodtick Memorial 420 Woodtick Rd. Wolcott. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday at 10:0o A.M. at St. Pius X Church. Burial will follow in Woodtick Cemetery.
