Wolcott – Madeline (Sirois) Nadeau, 76, of Wolcott, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2018 at Apple Rehab in Plainville. She was the loving wife of Norman Nadeau.
Madeline was born on March 25, 1942 in Lille, Maine, daughter of the late Theodule and Anna (Grivois) Sirois. Madeline loved traveling to Maine and Long Island to visit family and would never pass up a chance to go to the casino.
Besides her husband Norman, Madeline is survived by three children, Noreen Logan and her husband Jeffrey, Nathan Nadeau and his wife Kimberly, and Nicole Evon and her husband Timothy; her siblings, Nelson Sirois and his wife Doris of Madawaska, Maine, Roger Sirois and his wife Claudette of Van Buren, Maine, Reno Sirois and his wife Edwina of Madawaska, Maine, and Edna Clavette of New Brunswick, Canada; two grandsons, Ryan Duff and Paul Logan; her god-children, Velma Fortin, Anthony Krol, Michael Clavette, and Gary Dumond; she was a very special Aunt to numerous nieces and nephews; and she is also survived by numerous brother and sister in laws.
She was predeceased by her brother Patrick Sirois; her sister Verna Dumond and her husband Armand; and her brother-in-law Louis Clavette.
The family sincerely appreciated the staff at Apple Rehab for the love and care they showed towards Madeline during her stay.
Family and friends may call on Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 9:30-11:30 A.M. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Madeline’s name to a charity or organization of the donor’s choice.
