Wolcott – Lorraine Desaulniers, 77, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2020. She was the wife of Yvon Desaulniers for 59 years.
Lorraine was born in Berlin, New Hampshire on September 1, 1942, daughter of the late Armand and Helena (Lagrange) St - Hilaire. Lorraine earned her Master’s degree in corporate taxation, and was the CFO of Devon Precision Industries, in Wolcott; Alden Corporation, in Wolcott; and Devon Pingu, in China. She was an avid tennis player, and loved to swim and travel the world, especially to Hawaii.
Including her beloved husband, Yvon, Lorraine leaves behind her children, David Desaulniers (President of Devon Precision Industries in Wolcott) and his wife, Beverly; Donald Desaulniers (Retired President of Alden Corporation in Wolcott) and his wife, Maria; Doris Bergano (Manager and owner of a gym in Litchfield) and her husband, Peter; her brother, Donald St - Hilaire (Retired Vice President of Devon Pingu) and his wife, Francine; her sisters, Lucille Ebreo, and her husband, Mark; and Rachel Wisler, and her husband, Rene; her daughter in law, Vicki; and Dale’s partner, Rich Beuter; her 16 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sons, Denis Desaulniers (President of Devon Pingu, in China); and Dale Desaulniers (Transportation manager of Braward County, Florida).
Burial will be held privately. A memorial mass will be held at a later date to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lorraine’s name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
