Tribute

Seymour – Mrs. Lillian (Urbonas) Langlais, formerly of Wolcott and Waterbury, passed away on Friday, May 8 at Griffin Hospital in Derby at the age of 88.

Lillian was predeceased by her husband Chester, her parents Vincent and Anna (Sevikas) Urbonas, and her brothers John and Vincent.

Lillian is survived by her children Paula Delage, Kathryn Skoczylas, Jay Langlais (Dina), Scott Langlais (Jennifer) and Andrew Langlais (Linda); her brother Joseph Urbonas; ten grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cherished friends.

The youngest of four children, Lillian was born in Waterbury on April 1, 1932. She was a graduate of Waterbury Catholic High School and St. Mary’s Hospital School of Nursing. Lillian retired from St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury where she was employed as a registered nurse for 35 years.

In addition to spending time with her family, Lillian found great joy with her cherished friends playing board games, singing in choral groups, participating in skits, volunteering at the Seven Angels Theater, and sharing many laughs over lunch. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Due to current events, funeral services at the Woodtick Memorial Funeral Home and burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery will be held at a future date and time to be announced.
