Kathleen Blouin

Kathleen “Kathie” Blouin, 65, of Thomaston, devoted wife and mother passed away peacefully on January 23, 2021 with her family by her side. She was born to the late Rita and Dana “Tex” Mitchell. 

A graduate of Wolcott High 1973, she married the love of her life, Jean-Guy Blouin, and spent 47 wonderful years raising their 3 daughters; Bridgette Keegan of Dexter ME, Danielle Blouin of Torrington, Melissa Blouin of Terryville. She was a loving grandmother to Wyatt and Brooklynn Keegan, and Weston Blouin-LeBeau. She was a faithful Jehovah’s Witness for 33 years and loved being in the ministry and spending time with family and friends. She loved dancing and hosting parties at their home as well as traveling and cruising, especially to Bermuda. She always loved helping people in her work, whether it was at the Alzheimer's Resource Center or recently with MyEyeDr. Her patients and residents always loved seeing her. 

Kathie is survived by her sisters Marcia Griffin and Rita Zeigler and is survived by many cousins,nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Maureen Wallace and brother Dana Mitchell. 

Walk-thru calling hours will be held on 2/20/2021 from 12pm-2pm at Woodtick Memorial located at 420 Woodtick Rd, Wolcott. Due to the current health guidelines, masks must be worn and social distancing will be observed, also private services will be held for immediate family only.
