Mrs Judy A Gallucci

Judy Dow Gallucci, 72, of Wolcott, passed away peacefully on June 27th, 2018 after a hard fought 3 years of battling cancer. Judy was born on September 15th, 1945 in Waterbury, CT. She was a graduate of Crosby High School and met her husband of 51 years, Paul J. Gallucci, through mutual friends.

Judy was very proud to be a part of the board of tax review, to have been a park and rec basketball coach, and to be on the park and rec commission. She worked for Hathaway and Ross and later Tracey Driscol as an insurance sales woman.

Judy enjoyed Irish music, watching her grandchildren play sports, and coaching the UCONN women’s basketball team from her couch. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Wolcott VFW Post 1979.

Judy’s memory is kept alive by her family in Wolcott including her husband Paul Gallucci, her daughter Lisa Cibelli, her son Thomas Gallucci, her daughter-in-law Rachel Gallucci, her son-in-law Dominic Cibelli, her grandchildren; Gabrielle, Michael, Bethany, Ellissa, and Isabelle, along with Shyloe and David Franz and their daughters from Arizona, and all her nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Friday June 29 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Woodtick Memorial, with a funeral home service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.
