Wolcott - Faye Margaret (Klinzmann) Penhallow, 87, widow of John R. Penhallow, passed away on February 24, 2021.

She is survived by her son, Mark Penhallow of Wolcott, her daughter, Nancy (Penhallow) McCarthy and her husband, Kevin of Bristol; and her son, Scott Penhallow and his wife, Jennifer (Luddy) Penhallow of Waterbury, CT. Faye also leaves behind her four beloved grandchildren, Ryan McCarthy, Sean McCarthy, Emily Penhallow and Molly Penhallow. She also leaves behind her brother, Alfred Klinzmann and his wife, Dorothy Klinzmann of East Hampton, CT and a niece and six nephews and many cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Alfred Klinzmann and Erma Larson Klinzmann.

Faye was born on October 25, 1933 and raised in Waterbury, CT. She graduated from Waterbury School of Nursing in the 1950’s. She met her husband, John when he moved to Waterbury from Rhode Island. They were married in 1957 and lived and raised their children in Wolcott for 62 years until John’s passing just two months ago. Faye was the quintessential stay at home mom, caring for her children, mother and grandchildren. She loved to sew, knit, bake, play cards, play bingo, go to tag sales and watch her children play baseball and football. She was an avid sports fan of the New York Giants and the New York Yankees. Faye and John loved to go on cruises and vacation on Cape Cod. As active members of All Saints’ Church, the family had many cherished, lifelong friends and found community there.

Arrangements are being made by Woodtick Memorial. There are no calling hours. A private funeral will be held at the family’s convenience. Burial will be at Edgewood Cemetery, Wolcott. A memorial service for Faye and John will be held at All Saints’ Church at a later date.
