Wolcott – Mrs. Edna S. (Lecomte) Beck, 92, of Wolcott, passed away on Friday, June 09, 2017 at Wolcott View Manor. She was the widow of Mr. Lawrence L. Beck, Sr.

Edna was born on February 10, 1925 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Alphonse and Sylvia (Bouffard) Lecomte. Edna enjoyed bowling and dancing and will be remembered for her love of cooking. She cherished the time she was able to spend with her loving children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Edna is survived by her children, Lawrence L. Beck, Jr., and his wife Elaine of Naples, Fl., and Wolcott, CT, and Bonnie Gemino and her husband Gary of Wolcott; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Ida O’Conner; and two brothers, Armand and Andrew Lecomte.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. at St. Pius X Church, 525 Woodtick Rd. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the East and West Wing staff at Wolcott View Manor for the love and care shown for Edna.
