Diane T. Gomulinski

Wolcott – Diane T. Gomulinski, 71, of Wolcott, passed away on September 19, 2022 at Waterbury Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Gerald Gomulinski who predeceased her in 2000.

Diane was born on May 15, 1951 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Joseph and Ellen (Blondeau) Zappone. She worked in the Lab at Waterbury Hospital for over 30 years until her retirement. She enjoyed cooking, horseback riding, animals of all kinds, visiting the ocean and spending time outdoors. While she was an avid UConn Women’s Basketball fan, she also relished the time she spent on her Atlantic City casino trips with her brother, sister in law, and best friend Adele Marcoux. Diane was extremely family oriented and cherished the time she spent with her daughters and her grandchildren.

Diane is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Wychulis and her husband Peter, and Susan Regalado and her husband Delfim; six grandchildren, Felicia, Nathan, Mason, Cameron, Jayden, and Cristiano; her siblings, Marcel Collin and his wife Marcella, Valere Collin, Stephen Collin, Karen Newhart, and Collette Dobkins and her husband John; her in-laws, Barbara Zappone, and Robert Macary; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her beloved siblings, Raymond Zappone and Ellen Macary.

Family and friends may call on Monday, September 26, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
