Butchie, Donna, Johnny and Rose Mary,

We are so sorry for your loss. Danny was such a rough and tough guy but a softie inside. Every time we saw him, we always got a big hug and kiss. He had a rough couple of years but he lived with no regrets. As the song goes: "I did it my way" and yes he did. He will truly be missed by all.

Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Love you all,
Ann, Jay and Jake

Dan, you have been in my prayers. Rest in peace. I rejoice that you are no longer in pain and the suffering is gone. Our last conversation, while brief, was emotional. We had a few moments to catch up over the years. I regret that I hadn't kept in contact or visited. This will be on my mind for some time. Love to you and the family. Praying for those who are hurting now. You once told me that you had accomplished everything you wanted to in life. That is something a lot of us cannot say. As a wise person said "we are just passing through" . It's not how long you are here but what you do while you are. You are loved by so many and that love will be kept in their hearts forever. See you soon Cuz.

Dan and I were married for 45 years. After the divorce we remained good friends until the end of his life. I want to thank Rose Semeraro, Dan's Cousin for helping me with his care and coming with me during a most difficult time, his final arrangements. I also want to thank Ann Ferraro for helping with the beautiful church service. Our good friends for many year Carl Begley and George Carey were always there to provide comfort to Dan. I especially want to thank Bernie Cantillion who was like a brother to him. We could not have kept Dan at home without him. It was so heartwarming to see all the people at the church packed with all of our friends who came from near and afar. Good bless you all, love Alice Ferraro

To our Guardian Angel Rose Ferraro Semeraro, John and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts because without you our ordeal with Dan would have been a nightmare. As you know we tried to get him to come to Florida but we all know Dan and he was stead fast committed to remain home. Your handling of his needs all along and his final service was nothing less than extraordinary from the calls I received from friends saying as much. To my many friends that attended thank you for your support and prayers.and George, Bruce, and Helen your words of comfort and friendship are above all heartwarming and will be cherished forever.. People come and people go as the old saying goes but friends are there forever. I can't stop without a mention of a very dear friend Tony Guigliotti , you're the best Tony ! ! ! We should all be as lucky as Dan when it's our turn to go, you all made him proud to have you as friends. It would be a mistake on my part not to applaud Bernie for what was a long journey with Dan thru good times and bad and remained committed to the end, Thanks Bernie.

Cousin Danny, even though miles were far and between over the years, God made away for Deborah and myself to visit with you this past July. You will be missed, and remembered by many. Prayers lifted up to the family.

Dan the Man (that's what I called you). You were strong and tough but also a teddy bear, especially when it came to animals. Your suffering has ended. I know that the Lord had his loving arms stretched out to reach you when you crossed over. I know your Mom and Dad and "Otto". are waiting to see you.
My heartfelt sympathy to John, Butch, cousin Rose and the rest of the family and close friends.

I am so sorry about the loss of your dear love Daniel. We all know that the sting of death is very painful, however, Almighty God promise that soon death will be swallowed up forever along with the pain and sorrow it brings. ( Isaiah 25: 8) As for the many that have fallen asleep in death, he promise that they will be ressurrected to life, here on earth. ( John 5: 28, 29; Psalms 37:29) To learn more, please visit jw.org.

This is more of a correction and addition to the obituary written for my brother. Although I agree with it all I feel one person was unintentionally overlooked and that was Dan and my life long friend George Carey. We both have know George since the early nineteen fifties and have remained close constant friends throughout. I'm quite sure Dan would not have wanted him overlooked in the his final tribute. There is no doubt we will all miss him for he was one of a kind, so long brother John and I were very proud of you and what you accomplished in life.
