Mrs Christine A. Capolupo

South Yarmouth - Christine “Chris” Capolupo, 68, of South Yarmouth, MA., passed away from complications of COVID on December 8, 2020.

Chris was born on October 19, 1952, daughter of Richard Gamble Sr., and Joan (Willette) Gamble. She was a graduate of Wolcott High School, class of 1970. She worked at the Hartford Insurance Co. for many years before moving to Florida to work for Disney and Disney Cruises. She retired to Cape Cod and worked part time at BJ’s.

Chris will be deeply missed by her husband of 50 plus years, John Capolupo; her son John Capolupo Jr. and Veronica Cyr of Wolcott; her daughter Janice Capolupo and Scott Bard of Thomaston; three grandchildren, Shawna Capolupo, Christopher Capolupo, and Scott Bard Jr.; her sisters, Diane Madden and her husband Mark of Wolcott, Arlene Santa Maria and her husband Joseph of Waterbury, and LeeAnn Galullo and her husband Richard of Thomaston; her aunts Loretta Tompkins of Wolcott, and Irene Fernandez of Waterbury; and many nieces, nephews, cousins; and her honorary sister Sandie Heller. She was predeceased by her brother Richard Gamble Jr., and her sister, Deborah Dunne.

Chris had a passion for family genealogy and loved lighthouses. She loved going to the ocean and taking walks on the beach with her husband and shiatsu “Pee” (Sampson). She was a people person and her contagious smile will be missed by everyone.

A walk-through visitation will be held on Sunday, December 13 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. Masks and social distancing are required. Everyone is kindly asked to leave once you have paid your respects so the next group may enter.
