Wolcott – Anthony R. Albini Sr., 84, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at Ingraham Manor in Bristol. He was the loving husband of 58 years to Charmaine (Rosselot) Albini.
Anthony was born on October 23, 1937 in Pontelandolfo, Italy, son of the late Michael and Anna Maria Albini. Anthony served honorably and proudly in the United States Army. He worked as a carpenter for the Waterbury Masonry Foundation for a number of years until his retirement. He was a member of the Local 24 Carpenters Union, the Wolcott Company 2 Volunteer Fire Department, and the Ponte Club in Waterbury.
Besides his wife Charmaine, Tony is survived by three sons, Anthony Albini Jr., Michael Albini, and Mark Albini and his fiancé Sue Stanish; six grandchildren, Heidi, Anthony IV, Mark Jr., Jenna, Robyn, and Alex; one great-granddaughter, Iris; and his siblings, Rito Albini and his wife Karen, and Lucy Gagner and her husband Alex. He was predeceased by his sister Mary Daddona.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 12:00 P.M. at St. Pius X Church, 525 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. Burial with military honors will follow in Edgewood Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
