Loving Son, Father, PopPop, Brother, Friend
Wolcott – Andrew ‘Andy’ A. Lang, 55, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2019.
Andrew was born in Boston, MA on May 28, 1964 to Ginette (Dionne) Lang and the late Nazaire Lang. He was a skilled craftsman and retired as a carpenter for Nutmeg Interiors, Local 210. He went on to work for SALSCO, Inc., in Cheshire. Although he took great pride in his work, his life is better defined by his service to his family and friends. He took great pride in helping them in any way he could and truly treasured the time he spent with them, whether it was camping, stopping by for visits, coaching little league, or playing horseshoes. Those who know him know that he adored his grandchildren and that the favorite name he ever had was PopPop.
Left to treasure his memories are his mother, Ginette Lang; his daughter, Nicole Mauzey, and her husband, Jon; his sons, Andrew M. Lang, and his wife, Desteny; and Ryan J. Lang; his brother, Danny Lang, and his wife, Karen; his sisters, Lynn Daddona, and her husband, Tom; and Kathy Swirski, and her husband, Stephen; his grandchildren, Colton, Gavin, Serenity; Sophi; and (soon to be) Mavryck; his former wife, Kathie Lang; his dog, Roscoe; 3 God children; several nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 18 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Pius X Church, 525 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. Meet directly at church. Burial will be held privately.
