YVONNE "MEMERE" BELLEMARE Loving Mother, Grandmother & Great Grandmother WATERBURY ~ Yvonne "Memere" (LaFreniere) Bellemare, 86, of Waterbury entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 18th at Cheshire House surrounded by her family. She was the widow of Gerard J. Bellemare, Sr. Mrs. Bellemare was born April 14, 1923 in St. Mathieu, P.Q., Canada, daughter of the late Oliver and Josephine (Ducharme) LaFreniere. She was a graduate of St. Anne Grammar School and was a member of the Shrine of St. Anne Church. She retired from Venus Mfg. Co. after many years of service. She enjoyed the art of cross stitch and crocheting, but her focus was her family and "Memere" will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She leaves her sons, Gerard, Jr. and his wife Linda of Seville, FL, Arthur and his wife Dorie of Waterbury, Ronald and his wife Brenda of Waterbury, and Albert and his wife, Joanne of Oakville, her daughters, Geraldine DiFronzo and her husband, Louis of Waterbury, Denise Haschak and her husband, Michael of Torrington, and Elizabeth Roczynski and her husband, Joe of Lancaster, SC, her sister, Cecile Michaud of Oakville, 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. "Memere" was predeceased by her grandson, Michael Haschak and her great grandson, Chad Dawid. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 8:45 am from Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott to the Shrine of St. Anne Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 3 to 6 pm.
