Obituary

YVETTE PICHETTE WATERBURY ~ Yvette (Riedel) Pichette, 88, formerly of Waterbury passed away on Sunday, May 2nd at Glendale Health Center surrounded by her family. She was the widow of Irving Pichette. Mrs. Pichette was born January 12, 1922 in Villerupt, France, daughter of the late Joseph and Louise Leonie (Mirquet) Riedel. She was a parishioner of St. Francis Xavier Church. Yvette was a member of the Gatabouts and she enjoyed traveling, playing cards and bingo. She retired from Lakewood Metals in 1985 after many years of service. She leaves her children, Robert Pichette and his wife, Joyce of Thomaston, Arthur Pichette and his wife, Susan of Naugatuck, Denise Green and her husband, Edward of Longs, S.C., and Rose Richardson and her husband, Thomas of Thomaston, her grandchildren, Staci Wille, Nicole Moore, Ashley Richardson, and Patrick Pichette, and her great grandchildren, Sarah and Marygrace. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 9: 30 from Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd. to St. Francis Xavier Church for a funeral mass at 10 am. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 8:30 am until the time of the service. Memorial gifts may be made to St. Francis Xavier Development Fund, 625 Baldwin St., Waterbury, CT 06706.
