Waterbury Yolande Reilly, 86, of Waterbury, passed away on May 7, 2020 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain. She was the loving wife of the late Todd Reilly who predeceased her in 1994. Yolande was born on August 18, 1933 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Edgar and Lucienne (Giroux) Diamond. She was raised in Waterbury, graduated from St. Anne's Parochial School and Waterbury Catholic High School. She worked for over 25 years in the City of Waterbury Vital Statistics office. Yolande enjoyed trips to Cape Cod and Florida, gardening, cooking and spending time with her loving family. Yolande is survived by three daughters, Cathy Pappas and her husband Rick of Southington, Cindy Reilly, and Robin Reilly both of Wolcott; eight grandchildren, Ryan Hennessy, Craig Pappas, Todd Stender, Brad Stender, Kyle Stender, Scott Michaud, Erica Michaud, Aaron Michaud; her sister Elaine Lovallo and her husband Joseph of Prospect; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Steven Reilly; and her siblings, Joseph Diamond and Gloria Bouchard and brother-in-law Gerard Bouchard. A private burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury and a memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date. Special thanks to the staff of The Summit of Plantsville.
