NAUGATUCK ~ Yolanda C. Watson, 51, of Naugatuck, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Waterbury Hospital after a short illness. Yolanda was born July 12, 1959 in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Leonard and Laura (Greene) Buono Jr. She enjoyed taking photographs to capture special moments with her grandchildren that she adored, and spent much of her time making scrapbooks. Yolanda will be sorely missed by a son, Allen Watson Jr. and his wife Savannah of Virginia, a daughter, Christina Emanuel and her husband Jacob of Wolcott, two sisters, Michelle Bedat of Naugatuck, Laurie Hackett of Virginia, a brother, Leonard Buono III of Waterbury, six grandchildren, Alycia, Allen, Evan and Emily Watson, Angelina and Liliana Emanuel and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 7th at 11:00 am at the Woodtick Memorial funeral home, 420 Woodtick Rd. Wolcott. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery, Wolcott. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm.
