WINSTON R. ELLIOTT TERRYVILLE ~ Winston R. Elliott, 94, of Terryville passed away on Wednesday, August 8th surrounded by his family at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford. He was the husband of Jean (Donston) Elliott. Winston was born March 11, 1915 in Kenneth, New Brunswick, Canada, son of the late Hubert and Laura (Elliott) Elliott. He attended schools in Ft. Fairfield, ME. He retired from Scovill Mfg. Co after 36 years of service and was a former Mason. Winston enjoyed gardening, woodworking and loved his cats. He was a member of The Ark Full Gospel Church. Besides his wife, Jean of 59 years, he leaves his sons, Maynard Elliott and his wife Roseanne of Waterbury, Richard Elliott and his wife Barbara of Old Saybrook, Gerald Elliott of Coco, FL, and John Elliott and his wife Theresa of Cornwall, his daughter, Judy Graham and her husband George of Naugatuck, 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Kevin. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday at 10 am at The Ark Full Gospel Church, 513 Meriden Rd., Waterbury. Friends are asked to meet at the church. A visitation will be held on Friday from 5 to 8 pm at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery.
