WILLIAM "BILL" SKURKIS Retired From Aetna Ins. Co. WOLCOTT ~ William "Bill" B. Skurkis, 63, passed away on October 12th in Colebrook. He was the husband of Teresa (Lucashensky) Skurkis. Bill was born January 2, 1947 in Wilkes Barre, PA, son of the late William and Clementine (Kizis) Skurkis. He was a 1970 graduate of Kings College earning a B.S. in computer programming. Bill retired from Aetna Life Insurance Co. after 20 years of service. He was an Eagle Scout and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Besides his wife Teresa of 15 years, he leaves his daughter, Sheri Skurkis and her husband Rob of Woodbury, his sons, Jeffrey Skurkis and his wife Christine of West Hartford, his stepdaughter, Christine Brooks of Wolcott, his stepson, Nicholas Capozzi of Wolcott, his brother, Ronald Skurkis of Newport News, VA, his sisters, Roberta Pehr of Timonium, MD, and Dorothy Andes of Dallas, PA, his grandchildren, Taylor and Sean Brooks, Ava and Hayden Skurkis, and his former wife, Carol A. Skurkis of Farmington. A gathering will be held on October 21st from 4 to 7 pm at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. Burial will take place in Pennsylvania at the familys convenience.
