WILLIAM "BILL" J. REIS WOLCOTT ~ William "Bill" J. Reis, 55, of Wolcott passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 9th at St. Marys Hospital. He was the husband of Phyllis (Boyea) Reis. Bill was born September 20, 1954 in Grand Rapids, MI, son of Rose (Moreth) Reis and the late Allen Reis. He grew up in East Longmeadow, MA and attended Springfield Technical Community College where he earned an Associates Degree in Engineering. He was the Systems Engineering Manager of Conveyco Technologies in Bristol.Bill has resided in Wolcott for 24 years and was a member of the Wolcott Lions Club for 6 years. He was a volunteer with the Wolcott Boy Scouts Troop 231 for 10 years and a mentor/advisor for the Wolcott High School FIRST Robotics Team 1071 for 7 years and enjoyed golfing. Bill could fix anything and was know to his family and friends as "Mr. Fix-It". Besides his wife, Phyllis of 29 years and his mother of Enfield, he leaves his sons, Bryan of CA and Jonathan of Wolcott, his daughter, Courtney of Wolcott, his brothers, Richard of MA and Robert of NY, his sisters, Rosanne Pelletier of CT, Linda McGrady of MA and Susan Tower of NH, 11 nieces and nephews and 3 great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 14th at 10 am at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott with Pastor Todd Williams officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 5 to 8 pm.
