Vito "Bill" Martinelli, 78, of Waterbury, passed away on July 25. He enjoyed all his nieces and nephews as they grew up taking them on nature walks, having bonfires and telling stories. He wandered in and out of many of his friends and families lives on a regular basis. He loved to talk current events, philosophy and the outdoors. Bill was born on August 21, 1936 in Waterbury, CT. He was the son of the late Domenic and Rosaline (Galicchio) Martinelli. Bill is survived by his sisters, Molly McCusker, of Waterbury; Betty Sullivan, of CA; and Phyllis Martinelli, of Southbury; his brother, Vinny Martinelli, of Wolcott; his niece Heather Millette and her husband Jeffrey, of Watertown; and large extended family with many nieces and nephews . As per Bills wishes, there will be no services. He wanted everyone to barbeque with their families and he will visit just like he always did. The family requests donations be made in Bills name to the Alzheimers Association, 2074 Silas Deane Hwy, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
