Meriden Victor Martinez Jr., 63, of Meriden, passed away on July 5, 2017 at his home. Victor was born on January 1, 1954 in Bronx, NY, son of the late Josephine Garcia. Victor was a former foreman at the Royal Screw Machine Company in Waterbury for over 30 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, camping and hunting with his beloved dog Brindy. Victor is survived by his two children, Jason Martinez and his wife Kristina, and Melanie Martinez and her husband Greg Gagne; three beautiful grandchildren, Khloe, Allie and Trinity; his sister, Frances Vaccaro; his four nieces; Evelyn Vaccaro, Liza Roman, Audrey Roman and Kathy Roman-Sanchez; and his nephew Nino " Junior" Vaccaro. He was predeceased by his sister, Socorro Roman. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
