With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, wife, and friend, Vasilika Palo, who passed away peacefully on April 9, 2025, at the age of 88.

Born on May 10, 1936, in the village of Drenovë, Albania, Vasilika lived a life full of strength, love, and dignity. She dedicated her life to education, positively impacting the lives of many through her wisdom, patience, and deep commitment to learning. Her teachings and love will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew her.

Vasilika was the devoted and loving wife of Gaqo Palo, with whom she shared a life filled with love, sacrifice, and treasured memories. She was also the cherished mother of Adrian Palo and Lefkothe Palo, and the proud grandmother of Ledjo, Mateo, Vasjana, and Joanna Palo. Her family was everything to her, and every moment spent with her was filled with warmth, care, and unconditional love.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and strong family values—virtues that will live on through generations.

Funeral Services for Vasilika are Tuesday beginning at 10 AM at Woodtick Memorial located at 420 Woodtick Rd. in Wolcott. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
