Obituary

THOMAS J. SANTARSIERO WOLCOTT ~ Thomas J. Santarsiero, 74, of Wolcott passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 4th at St. Marys Hospital. He was the widow of Marguerite (Dedola) Santarsiero. Mr. Santarsiero was born January 24, 1935 in Waterbury, son of the late Joseph and Antoinette (Genovese) Santarsiero. He retired from Raymonds Bakery after 25 years of service. He was a member of St. Pius X Church where he served as a Eucharistic Minister and usher for many years. He was a 3rd degree knight of the Armor Die Council 3961 of the Knights of Columbus and also served as a 4th degree knight and Faithful Navigator of Assembly 0135. He leaves his son, Jeffrey Santarsiero and his wife Sandra of Waterbury, and his grandsons, Michael Hall and Joshua Williston. He was predeceased by his son, Brian Santarsiero. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 9:00 am from Woodtick Memorial, 420 Wood tick Rd., Wolcott to St. Pius X Church for a funeral mass at 10 am. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5 to 8 pm.
