THOMAS R. GUNDRY, JR. WOLCOTT ~ Thomas R. Gundry, Jr., 67, of Wolcott passed away on Friday, September 18th at New Britain General Hospital. He was the husband of Priscilla (Whitman) Gundry. Mr. Gundry was born February 5, 1942 in Barre, VT, son of Doris (Badger) Gundry and the late Thomas Gundry, Sr. He was the owner of On Site Welding and started his company over 30 years ago. He enjoyed gardening, hiking, fishing and was an avid reader. Besides his wife of 50 years, and his mother of Southington, he leaves his children, Thomas Gundry III and his wife Sara of York Haven, PA, Kathleen Carey and her husband Peter of Wolcott, Pam Lenois and her husband James of Plainville, Laura VanLinter of Bristol and Tim Gundry of Wolcott, his sisters, Joyce and Bill Thomas of Morrisville, VT, Marge and Keith Weston of Durham, N.H., and Donna and Charles Seman of Wallingford, his brother Anthony Gundry and his partner Elaine Raymond of Meriden, his grandchildren, Nicole Lambert and her husband Jason, Frank VanLinter, Megan Lenois, Bo Lenois and his wife Danielle, Amber and Rebecca Lenois, Jessica Carey and her fianc, Eric Martin, James Carey and his fiance Jaclyn Purcell, Rachel Carey, stationed in Afghanistan, Brittany Carey, Jamie Price, Carolann, Connor and Jason Gundry, his great grandchildren, Alexa Lenois and Khloe Martin. He was predeceased by his sisters, Gloria Maroz and Marion Alfieri, and his great granddaughter, Kathleen A. Carey. The Gundry family would like to thank Mike Hychko, a special friend for his love and support during this time. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10 am at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5 to 8 pm.
