STEPHEN M. HERBORT WOLCOTT ~ Stephen M. Herbort, 53, of Wolcott passed away on May 13th at St. Marys Hospital. He was the husband of Laurie (Steinfeld) Herbort. Stephen was born March 15, 1957 in Waterbury, son of Eileen (Stack) Herbort and the late Eric Herbort. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps and attained the rank of Corporal. He was currently employed at Bozzutos Inc. in Cheshire. Stephen was an accomplished chef and enjoyed entertaining his family and friends with his specialties. He was a self taught computer guru who unselfishly helped others with their computer problems and was known to many as a "Jack Of All Trades". Stephen enjoyed morning walks while listening to his favorite talk radio programs. He attended the Prospect Congregational Church. Besides his wife of 19 years, and his mother of Wolcott, he leaves his children, Erica Rae, Richard Raymond and Tracey Lynn Herbort of Wolcott, his brothers, Karl Herbort of Lake Placid, FL, Mark and Timothy Herbort of Wolcott, his sisters, Donna Evon and her husband, David of Wolcott, and Kathleen Hafford and her fianc, Fred Mottola of Plantsville. He was predeceased by his brother, Richard. Funeral Services will be held at 10 am on Tuesday at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott with the Rev. Phyllis Norman officiating. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 5 to 8 pm.
