Stephen Harbanuk 82, passed away on June 20, 2025 at Yale New Haven Hospital after a long illness. He was predeceased by his wife Nancy (Bates) and his parents Stephen, Sr. and Doris (Charbonneau) Harbanuk. A lifelong Wolcott resident, Stephen was educated in Wolcott schools and graduated from Wilby HS.

He was a hardworking man who reveled in simple pleasures in life - tending to his yard & gardens, watching his bluebirds and hummingbirds and especially enjoyed special Sunday dinners with family. He was an avid fisherman and loved trips to Cape Cod, Cancun and Lake Champlain. He retired from Sequel Specialty Products and was formerly employed at Reymond's Bakery for many years until its closure.

Left to mourn his passing are brother Roger (Denise) Harbanuk, sisters Deborah (Eugene) Cooney, Sandra Harbanuk, and Donna Miller. He is also survived by a son Stephen P. and daughter Sharon (Reinaldo) Velez, two grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
