SIMONE MICHAUD WOLCOTT ~ Simone (Michaud) Michaud, 78, of Wolcott died Friday, November 7 at Farmington Health Center in Farmington. She was the widow of Willard Michaud. Mrs. Michaud was born September 13, 1930 in Baker Brook, N.B., Canada, daughter of the late Louis and Marie Louise (LeBrun) Michaud. She retired from Waterbury Hospital after 30 years of service. She enjoyed fishing, knitting, and crafts. She was an avid METS fan. She leaves her sons, Robert Michaud of Plainville, and Michael Michaud and his wife Vicky of Oakdale, IL, her daughters, Louise Sancibrian and her husband, David of Waterbury and Carol Weaver of Madison, IN, a brother and four sisters, all of Canada, 8 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her grandson, Wesley Michaud. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 am at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott with the Rev. Richard Bollea officiating. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery, Wolcott. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 10 am until the time of the service. Memorial donations may be made to the donors choice.
