Wolcott Mrs. Shirley V. (Morin) Dollinger, 81, of Wolcott, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Mr. Raymond J. Dollinger. Shirley was born on June 12, 1935 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Philip and Irene (Charbonneau) Morin. She was a very active member of the Wolcott Senior Center and the Basilica of The Immaculate Conception Ladies Guild. Shirley was an avid Yankees fan; enjoyed camping and traveling to Florida, and most of all cherished the time she was able to spend with her loving grandchildren. Besides her husband, Raymond, Shirley is survived by seven children, Karen Parks and her husband Robert, Darlene Bartolini and her husband Robert, Wayne Dollinger, Kevin Dollinger and his wife Karen, Lisa Sherman, Amy Gilbert and her husband Alan, and Tracy Herren and her husband Martin; three sisters, Theresa Morin, Dorothy Cote, and Joan Susarchick; 16 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, with one more great-granddaughter on the way; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Thomas and Edward Morin. The family would like to thank the Hartford Healthcare at Home Hospice and the caregivers from Aging Better at Home for all their support and care. Family and friends may call on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 21, at 9:30 A.M. at The Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, 74 W Main St, Waterbury. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
