Wolcott - Mrs. Sharon (McArthur) Brown, 67, of Wolcott, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at her home. She was the widow of Mr. Richard Brown. Sharon was born on May 8, 1947, in Norwalk, daughter to the late Cleon F. and Elva (Mull) McArthur. Sharon enjoyed music and was an avid Moody Blues fan. She loved spending time on Facebook sharing thoughts with family and friends. She is survived by two brothers, John McArthur and his wife Sandy, of Naugatuck, and Robert McArthur and his wife Sherrie, of Harwinton; sister-in-law Dawn McArthur of Naugatuck, nieces and nephews, Jennifer Irene McArthur, Kelly-Ann McArthur, Michael McArthur, Brian McArthur and his wife Becky, Ray Guard, Cindy Pough, Brandie McAulliffe, Alana McAulliffe and Kateri Pilch . She was predeceased by her brother, Christopher McArthur. A memorial gathering will take place on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 from 4-7 P.M. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. Burial will be held privately.
