Waterbury Sebastian "Joe" J. Gibilisco, 73, of Waterbury, passed away on December 27, 2019 at St. Marys Hospital. He was the husband of Kathryn (Dowling) Gibilisco for the past 38 years. Joe was born on April 8, 1946 in Canicattini Bagni, Silcily, Italy, son of the late Salvatore and Anna (Carcia) Gibilisco. Joe served honorably in the United States Army. After his service, he worked as a butcher for 15 years and later opened and operated his own antique store, Joes Antiques, until his retirement. Joe will be remembered for his love of family. Besides his wife, Kathryn, Joe is survived by two sons, Joseph and Michael; his siblings, Lina Carpintire, Louis F. Gibilisco, John Gibilisco, Lucy Aurigemma, Mary Jane Pisani, and Roseann Osbourne; three grandchildren, Miranda, Joseph, and Salvatore Gibilisco; and many nieces and nephews.
