Thomaston Ruth (Charette) Napoli, 70, of Thomaston, went to her eternal rest on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Ruth was born on November 28, 1946 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Patrick and Marie (Dubois) Charette. Ruth graduated from St. Marys Nursing School in 1967. She worked at St. Marys Hospital as a respected nurse supervisor and administrator for a number of years until her retirement in 1994. Ruth loved playing bingo and she was an avid shopper. Ruth is survived by her daughters, Michelle Napoli-Lipsky and her husband Jason, and Marlaina Napoli-Bosse and her husband Thomas, both of Southington; three siblings, Betty Favreau of Weeki Wachee, Fl., James Charette of Harwinton, and Larry Charette of Wolcott; her grandchildren, Alexander Lipsky, Katelyn Lipsky, Arianna Bosse, Nicholas Bosse, and Thomas Bosse, Jr; two sister-in-laws, Rose Marie Charette, and Susan Charette,; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Ruths caregivers, Betty, Jessie and Sam, for the love and care they showed her. Family and friends may call on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 25 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Thomas Church, 1 East Main St., Thomaston. Everyone is asked to meet directly at church. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ruths name to the St. Judes Childrens Hospital at www.stjude.org
