WOLCOTT ~ Ruth A. (Romanauskas) Mosel, 81 of Wolcott passed away on Friday, October 25, 2013 at Hartford Hospital. She was the widow of William Mosel. Ruth was born December 23, 1931 in Waterbury, CT, daughter of the late Charles Romanauskas and Alice (Yazavitas) OLoskey. She had been employed at The Waterbury National Bank for many years. Ruth was a world traveler, enjoying the wonders of the many countries she visited. She had a great love of animals and had rescued many over the years. Among her family and friends she became known as an amateur interior decorator, but her greatest joy was spending time with her great grandchildren. Ruth leaves her granddaughter, Kristin (Meehan) McCormack and her husband Jason of Wolcott, grandson William Meehan, Jr. and his wife, Pornsri of Rayong, Thailand, and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Carol A. Mosel and step-father, Alexander OLoskey. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 am at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott, followed by burial in Edgewood Cemetery.
