WATERBURY ~ Roy K. Hoffman, 60, of Waterbury passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2013. Roy was born October 6, 1952 in Waterbury, son of Elinor (Knutson) Hoffman and the late Roy D. Hoffman. He was a 1970 graduate of Wolcott High School and enjoyed attending all of his class reunions. He was a retired truck driver, having been employed by Lyons Transportation, Consolidated Freight and Roadway Freight. After retirement, he enjoyed connecting with his facebook friends. Roy was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 677 and the Wolcott Masonic Lodge 146. He enjoyed long motorcycle rides with his Harley-Davidson and vacationing in Arizona and Florida.
Besides his mother, Elinor, he leaves his daughters, Nikole Hoffman of Vernon and Samantha Damicis and her husband, Joseph of Oakville, his siblings, Gary Hoffman and his wife Norma of Wolcott, Shelley Magel and her husband Gerry of Oakville and Tracy Sirois and her husband, Rich of Wolcott, his grandchildren, Lizabeth Muniz and Mason Damicis, his nephews, Matthew and Justin Magel and Douglas Sweatt and his niece, Madison Sirois.
