WOLCOTT, CONNECTICUT ~ Roy W. Goodnough, 58, of Wolcott, Connecticut passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Wolcott View Manor. He was the beloved husband of Mary Jean (Ferrindino) Goodnough. Roy was born May 28, 1954 in Elmira, NY, son of Arthur and Dorothy (Maynard) Goodnough. For many years he was employed as a Production/Toolmaker Manager at local manufacturing companies. He and his wife enjoyed their cottage on Lake Ontario where they spent many evenings watching the sun set over the scenic lake. Roy enjoyed his corvette, fishing and water sports. Besides his wife, Mary Jean of Wolcott and his parents of Bradenton, FL, he leaves his siblings, Alan Goodnough and his wife, Patricia of Webster, NY, Roger Goodnough of Penn Yan, NY, Linda Foisy and her husband, Michael of Perkinsville, VT, and Lisa Wright and her husband, Peter of Ontario, NY, his step-son, David Shiel and his wife Colleen of Mesa, AZ, his mother-in-law, Mary Ferrindino of Clyde, NY, his brother-in-law, Joseph Ferrindino and his wife, Catherine of Seneca Falls, NY and his step-grandson, Jacob Shiel. All funeral and services are private. Woodtick Memorial has been entrusted with Roys arrangements.
