With our hearts broken we announce that the matriarch of our family Rosemary R. (Milton) DiBiase, 90, passed peacefully on Saturday July 25th at The Pines at Bristol. She is now reunited in Heaven with her husband, the late Joseph DiBiase.
Born in New Brunswick, Canada on December 28, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Ross and Mary (Killam) Milton. She lived and raised her family in Bristol for many years before moving to Wolcott in 2001. She retired from OZ Gedney in Terryville where she worked for over 31 years.
Rosemary loved shopping, exercising, dancing and singing. She also enjoyed her annual trips to visit her siblings in Canada. She was a very faithful person and an active member of Wolcott Christian Life Center.
Left to carry on her fun-loving legacy are her three daughters Maria and her husband James Poudrier, Barbara and her husband Frank Cahill, Wanda and her husband Norman Stevens, her brother Killiam and sisters Kilmeny, Charlotte and Inez, her 10 grandchildren, Chery, Jenny, Janette, Miranda,Mike, Christina, Jeremy, Tanya, Sharlene,and Tammerah, her 19 great grandchildren, Kayla, Gloriah, Joe, Aliyah, Joshua, Ethan, Noah, Lily, McEnzie, Matthew, Jameson, Caleb, Rose, Blake, Caden, Juniper, Parker, also Lucian and Alexander, and one great great grandson Maverick, plus several generations of nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Rosemary was predeceased by her daughter Tammy DuBois, her son Daniel DiBiase, two of her grandchildren, Ryan and Alisha, and by 13 brothers and sisters.
In accordance with her wishes, graveside services will be on Wednesday July 29 at 1 PM in St. Joseph Cemetery 522 Terryville Ave in Bristol. There are no calling hours. Rosemary’s family would like to say that we are so happy we had her for many years and now she is reunited with her loving husband Joe and with all other predeceased family and friends. Rosemary will live forever in our hearts. :-) ♡ ♡ ♡
