WATERBURY ~ Ronald R. Dupre, 51, of Waterbury passed away on Monday, February 25, 2013 at St. Marys Hospital surrounded by his family. Ron was born November 5, 1961 in Waterbury, son of Roland and Rita (Boucher) Dupre. He was a graduate of Wolcott High School and on the football team. He was a member of the Franco-American Social Club and the Waterbury Pool League. After college Ron was a business entrepreneur with a creative mind and excelled at being a gifted salesman. His many accomplishments included real estate developments and owning several night clubs in the local area. He enjoyed relaxing on vacation in the Dominican Republic and he had a passion for antique cars. Besides his parents of Wolcott, he leaves his children, Shanelle and Mitchell Dupre of Litchfield, his siblings, Joanne Sanzone and her husband, Steven of Toms River, NJ, Jacqueline Costantino and her husband, Domenic of Southbury, Michael Dupre and his wife, Donna of Wolcott and Paul Dupre of Waterbury, several aunts, uncles and seven nieces and nephews and many close friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 8:45 am from Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott to St. Pius X Church for a funeral mass at 10 am. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.
