Wolcott Ronald Affhauser, 73, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at the Hospital of Central CT, New Britain. He was the beloved husband of Lucille (Jennett) Affhauser of 52 years. Ronald was born in Waterbury on November 7, 1945, son of the late William and Ruth (Brownell) Affhauser. He was employed many years at ElectroTech in Cheshire until his retirement. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed working on cars. Besides his wife, Lucille, Ron is survived by his daughters, Teresa Affhauser and her fianc, Jim, of Wolcott; and Susan Matott, and her husband, Dennis, of Terryville; his brothers, Robert Affhauser, of Waterbury; William Affhauser, of Waterbury; Earl Affhauser, of Southington; and Edward Affhauser, and his wife, Ruth, of Columbia; his sisters, Shirley Montory , and her husband, Daniel, of SC; Marsha Muir, of Waterbury; Doris Affhauser, of Waterbury; his brother in law, George Christoff, of Wolcott; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Gladys Affhauser Cyr; brother, Richard Affhauser; sisters in law, Adeline Affhauser and Margaret Affhauser. Calling hours will be held Friday, June 21 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Leo the Great, 14 Bentwood Drive, Waterbury. Meet directly at church. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.
