WATERBURY ~ Roland P. Pelletier, 83, of Waterbury passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at St. Marys Hospital.
Roland was born January 11, 1929 in Woonsocket, RI, son of the late Omer and Yvonne (Nadeau) Pelletier. He was a member of the Shrine of St. Anne Church. Roland worked for many years as a painting contractor specializing in residential homes and commercial buildings before retiring many years ago. He lived a happy life and enjoyed billiards and played pool and cribbage, he also liked to tinker on his car and travel. Most recently he loved to spend time with his family and had weekly visits. He is survived by his children, Michael and his wife Carol Pelletier of Terryville, Robert and his wife Lisa Pelletier of Bristol, Joanne Pelletier of Terryville, Tim and his wife Denise Pelletier of Watertown, his grandchildren, Stephen, Christine, Michelle, Nickolas, Michael, Andrew, Jamie, Jessica, Jody, Joseph, Robert, Chantel, and a great grandchild Jordan. He is also survived by many brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews in Canada. He was predeceased by brothers and sisters.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday at 11 AM at The Shrine of St. Anne in Waterbury. Family and friends are asked to gather at the church. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 5 to 8 pm at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Rd., Wolcott.
